Seven of the Virtues We Write About (and Why)

When we set out to build a bedtime story engine, we resisted the modern urge to invent something new. Instead, we returned to a very old list.
Courage lets a child face the dark. Kindness teaches them to notice the small and the overlooked. Humility keeps a growing ego tender. Patience is the muscle that makes every other virtue possible. Honesty builds the trust a family runs on. Perseverance turns a hard day into a triumph. And wisdom, quietly, ties them all together.
Each night, the story generator selects up to five of these and more virtues at random and weaves them into a story starring your child. Over months, your child meets each virtue many times, in many disguises — a dragon, a lost puppy, a snowstorm, a new friend.
The repetition is the point. Character is built the way a cathedral is built: one small, patient stone at a time.
